Dr. Thomas Moore of Rollins College in Florida, one of the leading researchers in musical acoustics in the United States, is among a very few physicists for whom musical acoustics forms the basis of his research endeavors. Wake Forest Music Professor Stewart Carter and Physics Professor Jack Dostal invited Professor Moore to lecture on the unique acoustical properties of brass instruments to music and physics students from campus and local area colleges.
