Via Romen Performance

April 8

As part of the symposium “Global Governance, Democracy, and Equality: Roma/Gypsies in Contemporary Europe,” we brought in the musical group Via Romen. Via Romen, a Central and Eastern European group, is known for blending music based in traditional Romani performance with more contemporary jazz, Jewish, and Latin styles.

The performance was free and open to the public and took  place on April 8th at 7:30 in Brendle Recital Hall.
